2. What data we process
Data you send us. When you press “Send message”, the “Write to us” form e-mails the data you entered (name, company, e-mail address, phone number, type of request, text of the message) to our office: the website does not store them in any archive. If sending fails, the form prepares the message in your own e-mail program, and it leaves only when you press Send. We treat the data in e-mails you write to us directly in the same way.
Browsing data. Like any website, the server hosting it automatically records some technical data (IP address, date and time, page requested, browser type) needed for the service to work and to be secure. To protect the “Write to us” form from abuse, the server briefly keeps an encrypted fingerprint of the IP address of whoever uses it, only to limit the number of submissions; it is deleted automatically.
3. Why we process it and on what legal basis
- To answer your requests and send you the price lists, technical sheets and offers you asked for: pre-contractual and contractual measures (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- To run the website and protect it from abuse: legitimate interest of the controller (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- To comply with legal obligations, for example tax and accounting obligations, if the request becomes a business relationship (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).
We do not use your data to send you newsletters or advertising without your specific consent.
4. How long we keep it
E-mails are kept for as long as needed to handle the request and any resulting business relationship; after that, for the periods required by law. Browsing data are kept by the hosting provider for the time strictly necessary for technical and security purposes.
5. Who can see the data
Authorised DE OIL S.r.l. staff and the suppliers who support us (website hosting, e-mail, consultants), appointed as data processors where necessary. We do not sell or transfer your data to third parties.
6. Your rights
You may at any time request access to your data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and portability, and object to processing (Arts. 15–22 GDPR), by writing to info@deoil.it. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (www.garanteprivacy.it).
7. Cookies
This website does not use profiling cookies or any analytics or tracking tools, and does not install third-party cookies: that is why we do not ask for your consent with a banner. Fonts are hosted directly on our server.
The website may store in your browser only technical information that is essential for it to work. External links (Google Maps for directions, Instagram) take you to third-party websites, which apply their own privacy notices.
